    Biography:

    Matthew Harvey is a commercial barrister of more than 15 years. He has considerable expertise in maritime and international trade matters.

    Matthew is recognised by Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Profession (2011) as one of Australia’s leading junior counsel in transport law. He is the Australian Vice President of the Maritime Law Association of Australia and New Zealand. He is a member of the MLAANZ panel of arbitrators.

    Matthew appears regularly in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Federal Court and Court of Appeal. He has appeared on a number of occasions in the High Court and the Supreme Courts of various States. Matthew appears regularly in international and domestic arbitrations.
