    Biography:

    Helen Symon QC is one of the most experienced taxation silks in Australia, practising in both an advisory and a disputes context. As an advocate, Helen appears across all areas of commercial law.

    Helen appears regularly in the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria. She is currently instructed in matters including the first cases to be filed under the promoter penalty legislation (Division 290 of Schedule 1 to the Taxation Administration Act 1953) and major corporate tax appeals.
